Alright, update time. So I disconnected the battery yesterday and let it sit overnight. I just got back inside from trying to start it, and this is what happened when I checked on it this morning.... I went out to the car, reconnected it, made sure everything was clean and on securely, got in my car and turned the car on ( did not try to start it right away) the dash lights came on, but when I tried to start it, power quickly drained...the inside light was dim and within about 10 minutes of letting the car sit the dash lights became nearly completely off, very hard to see that they were lit... so im thinkin just a bad battery... am I correct?? thanks for all the help!

probably. at this point I would take it back where you bought it and have it tested. Bad batteries from the factory are not that rare.

first off load test the system BEFORE you do anything. That will tell you where the problem is......

Agreed. You've asked for advice, taken none, and continue to ask the same questions over and over. Heed the advice and tell us how it worked out or buy some new shoes for walking.

ORIGINAL: jewlow5 Well, I got it jumped this morning, and its disconnected right now. Were the jumper cables connected long enough to charge it? If not, you haven't proven anything. Get the battery checked out. If you don't measure it properly, that won't be a good substitute. Do you have a multi-meter? If so, you can do a reasonable job of checking it out. But only if you make proper measurements & interpret them correctly. If you don't have a meter, then you'll just be guessing.
