Never heard of the american thunder one.... my friend has a flowmaster (not sure which one) and I will tell you (on his 97) it's loud, not ricey at all but it is a good sound it's just loud, loud enough to need to turn your stereo up to hear over the top of it at times..... good sound though!

Here, click on either 2.0L or 1.4L and listen to some sound clips of exhausts....

If you want a flowmaster it would be alot cheaper for you to just buy the muffler and take it to a local shop and have 2 1/4-2 1/2 pipe custom bent all the way from your cat back... might save u couple hundred... i paid my local guy to do it 150 bucks and that was cuttin off the cat...having the o2 sensor welded in and 2 1/2 all the way to the back...

thanks for that input, that could be a cheaper way to do it, but i guess it depends on were i get it done at. The price of that flowmaster american thunder exhaust from autoanything was $216.00 i thought that is pretty cheap for a catback. the clip that sir nasty sent me i could still not download it. i'm not sure what the heck is wrong. but if i go with some of the reviews it might be worth it. is there another site where i could listen some sound clips of exhaust?

You could definitly get a cheaper price than $216.00 if you just bought the muffler itself and took it to a reputable shop.
