Where is thermostat? - 8/7/2005 7:42:09 PM    MaxPower   Posts: 5 Joined: 8/7/2005 Status: offline Hi guys, I have a 1992 Accord LX and I was wondering where the thermostat is located. I cannot seem to find it. Any pics would also help. Thanks. Post #: 1

RE: Where is thermostat? - 8/8/2005 7:27:28 PM    dinzer Posts: 201 Joined: 4/30/2005 From: new jersey Status: offline on the v6 model it is located just to the left of the battery , follow the upper radiator house to the engine to locate the houinsg cover. before you do any work to it, you have to drain your cooling system, be carefull doing any work in and around this system. you can get an idictation of its function, if your heaters are not putting out heat in a normal time period then its probably stuck open. if the upper radiator hose is is not hot and the engine is then its stuck closed. either condition would mean replacement. hope this helps (in reply to MaxPower) Post #: 2

Follow the long hose from the bottom of the radiator to the back side of the engine and there it will be. I own a 92 accord (in reply to dinzer) Post #: 5
