Hello New One...

If your not planning to lower then you may just want to go with New Honda Springs from the dealer...

Bilstein is my best recommendation...mono-tube gas, great quality, a little pricey. As far as spings...Try OE Eibach.

Hello,

I'm also am interested in improving the handling of a '91 Accord without lowering. I want better cornering (less lean around curves). I'm not a suspension expert. - do I need to replace the springs? Or will an upgrade to a an aftermarket shock/strut (like KYB or Tokico) be enough to better support the car through the turn?

The better results you looking for as far as lean...the more components you'll need to replace and adjust. Lower ride height, high spring rates, stonger shocks, thicker anti-sway bars, etc.
