Yeah they can break. although because a lot of them user higher grade materials in both inner and outer construction, they do last longer and less likely to break before other parts of your car. But considering the abuse and effects of weather they encounter under your car, they will eventually go bad.

well, since they go straight through, its not pushing against anything, so it shouldnt break, right? cause my brother used to have this 88 camry a long time ago with an aftermarket muffler that was like those flowmaster ones, then it eventually broke and made no sound, lol... like this one http://www.cardomain.com/item/FLO42541 but yea, if i get a catback, its gonna be full stainless steel, so that should last at least 200,000 miles without any problems, right?
