the truth about tornado fuel saver. - 3/27/2007 11:12:16 PM    syclone521   Posts: 11 Joined: 3/12/2007 Status: offline Ok so i do alot of driving I average about 60 miles a day. With gass prices these days i said hell why not give the tornado fuel saver a try even if i only gain 1 or 2 miles. I do not have any other performace parts installed. I own a 2006 honda accord ex-l 2.4 L4  No real way of tracking how much of an increase im actuallly  getting  but i do feel like the car has  alittle more kick to it.  Is this a mental game im playing with myself or does that little metal thing actually  doing something?        Post #: 1

RE: the truth about tornado fuel saver. - 3/28/2007 9:41:08 AM    00AccordLX5spd Posts: 3815 Joined: 1/16/2007 Status: offline If you really want to find out how well it works do this: Completely fill up your tank.  Reset your "trip" odometer to zero.  Drive till you are almost empty.  When you stop at a gas station to refill, write down the number of miles it says on the "trip" odometer.  Then divide that number by the exact number of gallons of gas it takes to fill up.  That will give you your miles per gallon with the tornado in.  Take out the tornado, and repeat the process.  That will tell you how many mpg you got without it.
