hi i own a 94 accord thats a 4door and 5speed. i have just looked at a site that says they have a guide that is the best for swapping an h22 into my car (http://www.ultimateresourceguides.com/h22-swap-94-97-accord.html#return?email=Buntinboy9@insightbb.com&name=Chris&ip=74.130.242.144&site=submit) so i was wondering how reliable it is. if someone can help me please do!

i have never actually seen one, but i have read that they are a waste of money, all the same info can be found online for free.

I found good info on these sites:

I'll have to disagree with live2rice. If not done with care or attention to detail and engine swap won't get you anything or could render your car unusable. If done right, a swap can open up a huge performance window for you. Both the 4G and 5G Accords can greatly benefit from the Prelude H22, since they are direct fits, with very little needing to be altered.

I think Live2Rice means a GUIDE for installing an H22 is a waste of money.  At first I thought he meant he thought an H22 was a waste of money, but I went back & read his post a few more times.

Ditto. Live2Rice is just saying why pay for something that's free and (possibly) better on the internet? Save up for the swap

I did mean that buying a guide was a waste of money, the H22 swap is one of the best things you can spend money on.

we dont need import people hating on other import people, if you want to hate go on a ford or chevy forum.

Why have we had such an influx of disruptive children lately?  Its getting old.

I would also say dont waste your money on a "guide."  Search the internet and you will find all the same info for free.  Check around this forum and the other Honda related forums, you will find plenty of info.

There's no influx. It's all the same person probably. All smurfs of you-know-who.

EDIT - Mods, run an IP check on the disruptive newcomers.
