OK Iam new to the honda seen, I am a jeep guy but can't afford to drive it any more. I picked up an '89 accord SEi, and the oil light is on and sometimes flashes, what is the most likely cause for that? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is there any oil on the dipstick?

That is low oil. Usually very low when it stays on.
