Thank god for broadband.

You know...that is pretty sweet looking. Now all you need is a siren. Just get an mp3 of a police wail or something...and then blast it with your strobe lights.

the optx kit fit directly into the parking lights. Just take the parking light bulb out of its socket and take the socket out of the lens. Just push the socket back and put the strobe light in its place. Its a direct fit, no modification needed. Just make sure you take out the lights that stay on when you park and leave the one that the signals are hooked up to. Then wire it up. Im not to electronically inclined so i had freemans hook mine up.

lol, the siren would top it off. but...funds are limited. the strobes took a chunk out of my check. Im saving the rest of my money for gas. getting paid every other week sucks.

At least you have a job, I don't. I rely on interest that collects in the bank.

I just wanna flash them at random people to get them to pull over. I already have a rotating light (orange security) that routes into the ciggie light adapter. Mounts by magnets. This would be the piece de resistance.

i wouldnt think those to be legal. But it is confirmed that they are. I could just see when your driving at night and you have them on.

Looks good though and not to much

I would have never thought those were legal either!  Are they legal in IL?  IL seems to have pretty stingent laws on lighting for cars n' stuff.

I still wouldnt drive around with them on all night, cause they will probably piss people off pretty good, and a cop will probably find a reason to pull you over.

Just use common sense and save yourself from a ticket.

i was thinkin bout gettin strobes myself but do the newer models have two bulbs for turn signal like that? or i could completely replace my highbeams since i barely use them anyway (doesnt sound like a good idea)

i wouldn't reccommend it, you need high beams to pass inspection. plus i think the hole circumference is too big. why don't you just keep all your lights, drill a 1/2 in. hole in headlight housing and use that.

new topic::: tonight, I was getting on the highway, the other lane merges into mine. The driver went around me on my right almost causing me to wreck. Needless to say, I let him have a taste of some sylvania ultras, horn, optx strobes, and a "friendly gesture." what would you do in the same situation?
