Shift Knob - 9/8/2005 10:56:20 PM    misterwebb   Posts: 2 Joined: 9/8/2005 Status: offline I have a 97 accord and today i tried to take off my shift knob and the whole rod moved..i twisted the knob...its the factory knob on it..how do i get it off? Post #: 1

Remove your consul, disconnect the shift cable from the shift lever then remove the shift mounting bolts and the remove the whole shift lever assembly. Remember to put it all back together like you took it apart...
