I have a cousin who installed lambo doors on his integra, and he also complained that it's a pain in the a$$ to install the lambo doors. Said it took him hours to do it. And every now and then, whatever holds the doors up (think it was shocks or something), breaks and he needs to fix it, which takes even more time.

No I didn't swap over to 5 speed. I am thinking about it so I can have more fun and run more boost with a turbo. Anyone here think I can run 11-12 psi on my auto tranny? I am planning on beefing up my internals.

As for the hood, it was $$expensive$$. Not 100% sure but i think I paid somewhere near $650 for it. If you can afford it go for it! It is manufactured by Erebuni Corp.

When I had my lambo doors on, my car was my daily driver(no longer my daily driver). It took 2 days to install but that wasn't really difficult, just time consuming. And yes, the shocks that hold the door up would give out about every month and I would have to replace them. $45 a shock. To me the doors were aggravating having to open them everyday about 10-15 times depending on where I would go. I was always worrying that someone would F them up when they opened them. Your choice I guess though.

the hood seems ok... whenever i finish the turbo of couse... the lambo doors... well, not really. i have a lot of friends who are used to riding w/ me, but i don't wanne be changing the shocks every month, and even less if that would cost me 45 each!!!! as for the AT, the engine will need  a lot of mods (not the tranny)..... go to the poll about how much psi.... and read my conversation with one of the guys.... it's way expensive!!!! u should only run a max of 8-9psi. that's what im going 4 at least...
But ill check more on that.... then ill write u back...

hehehehe, I turned 18 @ march, but i've always worked, since 12, so i managed to get the $ and buy the accord and trying to beef it up! so i guess that could be his case too, and w/ some help from parents he could do it.. i didn't get any help from my dad because he spent the $ on another car we're building..
About buying another accord.... you should strongly consider getting a civic with a H22 engine, or a prelude itself..... that's ifu wanna use the car for racing..... my dad and I are building ( long way to go yet) a 98' Civic hb and w/ it's 1.6 engine (modified of course) we're planning on boosting it @ 28-30psi! so i would recommend either a civic or even better, a prelude! or a civic w/ a H22 even better!!!!!

my new fuel pump and the fuel rail is on it's way!!! will be here by next week... i hope nothing else breaks or hope that the parts i've gotten are the last cause i have no $ left!!!!! Besides, i stopped working 4 1 whole week to finish my car, and im still not done!
well, i'll report on my progress later!!!good luck to everyone!
And, once again, nice looking car j_man_honda! Looks awesome!

I started working for my dad at 15 and I still do. He runs a used car lot(around 35-45 cars) so I always have something to do whether it be painting, detailing, minor mechanicing, etc. In between working for him and going to school, I have been buying and selling a few cars through his dealership for the past 18 months. Just cheap cars ranging from $800-$1500 cars. I usually make anywhere from $200-$600 profit on each car(luckily I haven't lost my a#$ on any yet). I buy them in pretty bad shape and fix them up where they are in good running and looking condition. I would say I have bought and sold about 15 cars since I started. So that is where the most of the money comes from. No help from mommy and poppy here. My dad pays me $7 an hour while I am working for him so he isn't giving me special treatment or anything. I also detail cars w/ a buddy of mine on the weekends where I make about $20 a car. So needless to say, I work for my money and I am proud to say that.

KevinAccord I think that you got confused when I said I was going to buy another F23. I mean I am going to buy another F23 engine w/ lower miles and beef it up and then swap it with my original. Then boost it. I know I could go H22 but I want to make a quick F23 for a change!LOL! Gotta start saving though, that's for sure. When you start building an engine up, it costs you out of the a@#.

What can you really do to beef up your F23 besides Headers, intake, and exhaust? Just curious, I might try it instead of swapping for an h22 head.

yes you can, an aggressive cam, port and polish the head, intake manifold, and throttlebody   but the sohc still lacks the tuneability that you have with a h22/23 head
