P.S: remember to look for the uneven port on the manifold!

Just wondering, what are the advantages of both internal/external wastegates????? I see that most of Garretts turbos have internal wastegates. From my understanding, external wastegates are really only needed on cars pushing high psi for better airflow.

Advantages of an internal wastegate is that from an installation point of view, they are simpler. Limits are that internal wastgates will become ineffective much beyond 10psi tops, and it can be harder to adjust the boost levels. Advantages of an external are the fact that they can handle much more boost, and can be easier to adjust. Downside is they tend to have a more complicated install. If you are going low boost, an internal will work just as good for you as an external, and would be cheaper too.

well, i got an external and it wasn't hard to install, there again, that was my case... and it sounds cool when it opens!!!! hahaha...
Shadow: if u don't mind me asking, how much did u spend on "massively" modifying ur H22? (just an aprox) if it was too much just say "too much".
and another question... if i switch my F23 head to an H22 head, will i be able to push more psi?

Total spent on modifying the engine was about $15k  Problem with with trying to get a lot of power, is that the more you get, the more it costs to get a little more. Changing your head will change the top of the combustion chamber, and of course the dimensions and shapes of the valves and intake and exhaust channels, but the real important thing to making more boost is the cylinder walls, your crankshaft, and your rods.

I guess that's the manifold i'll have to go with even though it's around $400. I swear a couple months back I saw uneven manifolds on ebay for $315, oh well...... I've got 3 cars out on the car lot I'm trying to sell, so as soon as I sell one I will have some $$$ to start buying parts.....As for the exaust, its a single pipe from the header that splits into 2 pipes near the back of the car. Figured it would look better filling in both holes in the rear bumper.....

I found this site that has these different downpipes for honda/acura. Not sure which one I would need but I'm just gonna post the link so I don't forget it:

I also edited my first post (main list) and added the Greddy E-Manage Ultimate. A lot of people have recommended it and after reading about it, it sounds like the best way to go.
