Ok so my girlfriends sister has a 2000 Durango R/T, who do you think would win...
2000 Durango R/T Auto V.S. My 2001 Accord EX Stick AEM Intake, GReedy EVO2 Exhaust...

I think she would take me off the line, but by top end 3rd gear i think i would be passing her.

My '03 Camry (I4, XLE, the heaviest trim), against, well, anything?

It's funny because I actually get "challenged" on the highway a lot at night, probably because I keep my car really clean so it looks shiny under the lights, and it has fogs, which seem to attract eager racers like mosquitoes.  Of course, I never really push things too far--I don't want to hurt the engine or bust a tire on a CA-road pothole...Besides, this car has an absurd amount of body roll.  Oh yeah, and it has no go past 2nd gear. XD

The CRX si JDM would smoke you and your girlfriend.  I think you could take a non-si, but even that would take your gf's car.

By R/T do you mean the one with the 5.9 liter, 245hp, 345 ft lb torque engine?
That vehicle is a good bit over 4000 lbs, but has massive torque at low rpms (3200), so I think it could be a toss up.

Yeah the R/T 5.9 Liter, i think it would be a good race. Her truck is pretty powerful off the line, so she might take me at first, but i think i'd get her in the end.

I think it all depends if you get a good launch and you don't miss any shifts.  I doubt she knows what rpm's to take the dodge up to with the brake pedal held down to get a good launch in the automatic she has.  No doubt she would still beat you off the line anyway.  Heck, when I had my 90 Mustang GT 5spd, a had a few guys that always wanted to race me in theor dodge trucks.  One was an auto, but he had push button 4wd so he would drop it in 4 low to launch, then cut the 4wd off when he gained some speed.  he always beat me off the line. But of course I was only 16 so many times if I tried to race anyone I always lost off the line cause I would sit there spinning my tires.  I always caught up within around 100 feet or so though.

I think the Honda would win.  Durango's just dont have any top end.  You get those RPM's up and you'll pull away....

Well that's a broad statement.  I'd bet anything that Chio's civic could beat it ...... rather, tear you a new -hol!!!\

LOL, not hating, just playing .... but realize that there are some really fast cars out there and the # of cylinders makes much less of a differance in predicting how fast a car is than it did 5 or 10 years ago.

Example 4 cylinder cars that are faster than your old truck:  Evo, Sti, SRT-4, Civic si, R32, Elise, Exige, MS3 .....

Well guys I raced a 4x4 Chevy 1500 or 2500(not sure) tonight in my 240sx. It was a newer model(03-06) with the 4 doors and lift kit. I dont know if he had the 5.3 or 6.0 liter Vortec in there. I was at a red light and he pulled up beside me and raced his truck up 2-3 times. His windows were tinted so I couldnt see inside and his truck was way too high anyway, lol. I was thinking, WTF does this guy want to race for? I normally wouldnt start a race from a busy intersection in fear of cops, but I said ok im going for it. Some rich kid in his daddys truck who needs to feel embarrassed. He had me by a fender at 30 mph, but I gained it back and was ahead by a fender and still passing him at 55mph when I had to slow down because of a car in front of me. So, I won. I was satisfied because I never revved over 4500RPMs while I was shifting. Weight difference can make up for any HP difference!

i raced my best friends 2002 grand prix and won 3 times...

he just doesn't seem to understand how heavy his car is compared to mine..

So he had a proposition and said he'd place a supercharged engine in his so i told him ok i'll drop a V6,swap the camshafts and cylinder heads for the J32 with a Y pipe exhaust and i won't even lower my car or place an Intake and i bet i'd win and he starts talkin bout how NO i wont so i have 2 friend who works with me at best buy and coincidentally the girl has a 2 door supercharged grand prix and the other guy has a V6 with pretty much every thing stock, the only thing he did was place Y pipe exhaust so one night i asked em to take each other on...

So i bring my friend and we sit a gas station while there on a empty 4 lane road at like 11am so now we ask them to race down to the other light. so on my 3rd honk they both take off and who would you expect to win?

At first i was acting confident with the V6 and praying that it would win just to prove to my friend that that honda's can pack some power because he has NO respect for honda's and he even disgusts the S2000 and i told him the S2000 would eat his car and his dream car anyday but ANYWAYS seeing how the supercharged grand prix gets 240 horsepower and my friends V6 FOR SOME STRANGE REASON on his dyno says he actually produces 220 horses...i thouht that 20 horsepower difference might be an issue but sure enough the V6 dominated the grand prix at first she pulled for like 2 ft lol and he just took off after that, she tried drafting him but even that didn't give her enough advantage because she was a little too far so in the end 6th generation accords RULE!

TILL THIS DAY MY FRIEND IS ACTUALLY TRYING TO BUY AN ACCORD LIKE MINE!AND HE'S LEARNED TO RESPECT THE S2000 MORE!especially since one time the s2000 raced a mustang(98 i think it was) in front of us and demolished it, and his favorite car coincidentally happens to be the mustangs!LMAO!
