I started on the drums and started playing guitar 2 years ago off and on... Im gonna focus a lot of time on guitar and who knows ... maybe Ill be shredding one day! I can play simple stuff like metallica riffs ets... need to work on solos ... I also need to learn to read music instead of Tablature.....

falk... hes pretty good but how is he at a set? Speed makes a good metal drummer!

he's an awesome drummer .... his only problem is that he's way too into the marching band stuff.  He's really good at jazz and ensamble too.  The kid is a musical prodigy!  He also composes.

Absolutely gob-smacked that our American cousins do not list the two best bands ever i.e. Led Zeppelin and Queen [both British you know - pause to salute the Union Jack]

I used to be big into Zeppelin but I got burned out with them.  Plus the radio stations here play them waaaayyyy too much.
I used to listen to a little Queen a long time ago too, but not really anymore.

musical taste seems to go in cycles - something to do with the moon perhaps. I blow hot and cold thro' my collection. At the moment, I am on WASP and AC/DC. One thing I think is absolute crap is rap - music for deadheads. The only positive I can say about rap is that it makes C & W sound better.
My daughter has bought tickets for us both [she is humouring me ] to see Iron Maiden in July. That should be fair to f......... fantastic

I guess i'm the odd man out.  I just changed my "soundtrack" which includes:

Ray Brown
Thelonious monk
Charles Mingus
Oscar Peterson Trio
Dave Brubeck
Keith Jarret
Duke Ellington
and some others...

Any other jazz fans?
