Hello all.. was wondering if anyone could help me out with a little problem. I have a 2001 accord ex. auto.  em.. i had the timing belt changed recently and since then when stepping on the gas it seems like the engine is trying too hard. and now sounds like I had put a new exhaust in. like a deep growling sound. Seems like its laking power. somewhat like its starting in a higher gear or something. or somewhat like something is too tight in there somwhere..  this make sense at all?

TIA

Perhaps the new belt is one tooth off, so the valve timing is wrong? I don''t know for sure, but it doesn''t seem unlikely that this might result in a different exhaust note. If the valve timing is off then I''d be expecting a power loss.
