I just bought a set of 17" rims for my 04 accord ex v6. They are the ones that come standard on the 6-speed manual v6. What would be good tires to get for the car and these rims?

I just upgraded the wheels on my 05 EX V6 to 17's and put Sumitomo HTR+ tires on them. Great tires at a great price. Check 'em out.

Hi all:

As I said in one of the other forums where we were all talking about tires, my favorites are the Yokahama Pradas because they are triple AAA rated in tempurature, traction and Speed rateing not to meantion that they are tight looking...Look at the tread style and you can see what I'm talkin about..

I started out with Michelin Pilots on my 17"s for my 03 Accord EX coupe, now I am running Falkans FK-451....215/45ZR17. These are great looking tires, good performance, quiet and....much less than Michelins or Yokohamas.

5 on 115 mm is the norm although one of the Accords wheels in the 17" is a 5 om 100mm wheel. Its for the 2003 to 2005 and is that great looking 18 spoke standard wheel that is a stock wheel.

Hope that helped you out...

I also have 04 v6 6spd, I riding on 17s w/ 245/35/17 toyo t1s. To make your ride look right with this combo you gota slam your ride. Or else it will look funny with big o gap. Also depending on your off set 245/35/17 might be too wide, 215/40/17 will be same match far as the hight of the side wall. good luck.
