i applied some wet paint on my rims after i washed my car last week, and it seems the brake dust has come back
could it be that i didnt apply enough of it?
because i was mostly spraying the wet paint on the spokes of the rims, and spreading it from there, could that be why?
because the spokes dont have brake dust, its just the lip and the inside of the rim

No product is gonna completely stop brake dust from getting on your rims. You need to buy some brake shields if you want it completely stopped.

I would agree.  You could also try lower dust pads...Not sure of what to reccomend though.

i heard from the guy who works at NAPA that the cross drilled ones help keel brake dust off the rims

Two applications will help reduce dust but nothing will eliminate it other than possibly changing pads. I still have the OEM pads on mine and they don't dust at all, that's a first for me.

or maybe i can just completely dip my rims in wetpaint, and let them soak for like 30 minutes, then take them out and wipe it dry

you could try a nice coat of wax on them to smooth them out so nothing sticks...

I've found that wax on the wheels doesn't hold up near as well as the WP does. It may have something to do with the heat generated when braking, I don't really know. Once again two layers is better than one if for no reason other than assuring full coverage.
