RE: windows not working!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - 9/27/2007 11:11:40 AM    sir_nasty Posts: 6303 Joined: 2/23/2006 Status: offline I would ALMOST be willing to bet that it's the wire that the motor runs to get the track up/down.  That wire slowly frays and then it makes a grinding noise when it goes through the motor.  I had this EXACT same thing happen to me.  I ordered a new motor/regulator and it was fixed.
