Default 02 coupe bumper conversion...

Ok so my bumper is a little ****ed up atm. I have a 98 accord sedan and I love the look of the 02 coupe! alot of people throw on the coupe bumper and hood and everything fits together nicely. I was wondering if maybe i can just pick up the bumper and cut out the top grille and custom make one to make it fit with my sedan hood... hmmm i can pick up a coupe bumper (it needs alot of bondo work) for $20 locally...is it even worth trying?

edit: what i could also do is pick up this bumper and just experiment with it...to see if i like how it looks. good idea or no?

My friend just did this conversion. Here is his car with the sedan hood. You can see the gap it leaves.

Cutting out the grill won't really help make it flush.....the part that doesn't fit flush is not the grill, it is the part on the side of the grill. You just have to get a Coupe hood.

that doesn't even look bad! I looked for an hour trying to find someone with the coupe bumper and sedan hood. THANK YOU!
