2001 accord taillights
 

Hello Everyone,

I have a 1998 accord and wanted to know if anyone has put on the newer 2001 taillights? The 1998 has turn signals on the top and is an amber lense. The newer ones have clear and the turn lights are on the bottom.Does anyone know if they will fit a 1998?

yup they wont fit, they are bigger;

the 01-02 tailights are sweeeeeeet huh?

Ah the old 01-02 taillight jealousy. I wish I had them too! What's the fitment issue again? They're longer? If the outer pieces fit fine, you could go for a trunk swap if you really wanted to :eek:

yeah you can swith the trunk one's but the outer one's are longer by a couple of inches.

Therefore making the whole rear end a few inches wider? How are the bumpers and lips swappable then?
