95 Accord - clear tail light turn signal

Hi,

I'm trying to remove the yellow blinker peice within the 94-95 Accord taillight. I'm wondering if it is possible for me to crack open the taillight and get access to the yellow peice within that's keeping my turn signal to be white instead of yellow.

Here's the yellow peice that I'm trying to remove from within.

The back of it showed me that it was just a yellow peice that can be remove if you can pop open the light.

I'm affraid I cannot get access to the inside of these lights easily though. The clip is kinda glued or some white material is in the way.

I want them to look like this:

I'm just posting to see if anyone here have done this. I would like to get some confirmation that I won't just break the light in my attempt. Please help. Thanks.

Ive always heard you had the Bake them to get that out. I would also love to know how to do this to my 97.
