99 Accord?
 

Hey I was wondering if anyone had or knew the dimensions of the 99 Accord hood? I am thinking of using a 99 Accord carbon fiber hood on a different car.

You mean to tell me that on an accord forum no one knows the length and width of a 99 honda accord?

I am about 100% sure that noone in their right mind knows the answer to that. If it's made for a 99 accord then it only fits a 99 accord.

Some customizing will definitely be involved, no question about it.

And CF isn't as easy to shape as metal is.

Get the right hood, and be done with it.

No I was wondering because I own a 99 Camry and I absolutely do not like the two piece headlights the Camry has. I have seen the accord headlight conversion done to a 99 Camry before.

I've done some homework and according to MSNAuto.com the 99 accord width is only .20 wider than the 99 Camry. This is why I was asking about the dimensions of the 99 accord hood I was thinking of doing an accord front conversion (headlights, front bumper, and the hood). There is hardly any carbon fiber hood for the 99 Camry, the selection of body kits isn't exactly up to par with the quantity the 99 accord has. This is why I was thinking of doing a conversion, and no I do not feel like buying a new car. I would like to do something that not many have done before, and also this is my first car I bought so it has some sentimental value to it as well.
