adding a spoiler

how much would it cost to add a spoiler to an 00 accord, paint job and all? or do u get it already painted? thanks

RE: adding a spoiler

you can get them either way.... usually you can find them color matched and painted for $200-$300 or less at a junk yard if they have your color...

do you know how much it would cost to have it installed? or would it be something that i could install myself? sorry this is my first car. thanks again

RE: adding a spoiler

not terribly difficult to install just a little un-nerving the first time since drilling holes in your trunk makes most people a little uneasy when it's their car.... Biggest thing is a tape measure, a ruler, perminant marker, and taking slow/easy, mark it all out, keep it nice and even from front to back and side to side and you shouldn't have any issues as long as you're okay with drilling holes in your car that is... Overall, straight forward job if you're good with a tape measure

Got mine off eBay for $125 shipped and painted.

And I don't know if all the 6th gens come with it but mine had four indents under the trunk to where the spoiler's holes should be drilled. Look under your trunk after opening it, should be 2 indents on the complete right hand side and the same two on the complete left hand side.

Ewww....

Waste of money in my opinion, but if you like that style....then go for it.
