black lower grille for 09 accord coupe
 

I have searched the web and coming up short. Has anyone seen a nice flat black grille for the lower potion in the front spoiler? Lotsa stainless types but no black ones that just eliminate the oil cooler showing....

I'm gonna look around for some 1/4" black honeycomb and fabricate one - I'll post pics here of the finished job if I do...

Ah hell, I'm too lazy to make one - found it here in powdercoat black..merry xmas to me:

however, another friend had a great idea - forget the grill and flat black paint the oil cooler - yes it can be done with the right paint/primer....

Yeah you could paint it.... but, the grilles would be a lot sexier!:eek:

Bingo - got the answer - home depot gutter guard - sprayed black mounted behind grill with black zip ties - looks perfect... pics later this weekend....all of 25 bucks..

Here's the finished before and after. I ended up using a plastic gutter guard which took all of 30 min to cut and attach:
