Bought a cb7 for parts for my cb9!
 

So I have known that my transmission in my cb9 was needing replaced soon. Broken internals related to reverse and slipping between the last two gears were the more simple of problems. Then I found a hell of a deal on a 1990 cb7 that the guy couldnt get running and had already put a lot of money into. I asked what the symptoms were and brought my tools as well as a TCU I rebuilt, a battery, alternator, 02 sensor, blank key and dremel, and a belt for the alternator. had her running in about an hour and a half. The guy was mind-blown, but this was, of course, after i had the title in my name. ;D

Anyways, these are the parts that I will be using... Dent free hood and doors, a spare set of headlights for me to retrofit projectors into so I can do it all at once, a better rear bumper (yes I know they are different, but I believe I can simply swap the mufflers. Input?) The freshly rebuilt transmission (that was a bonus I did not know about when I first went to buy the car), a motor to rebuild (maybe). Any other parts are fair game people... Let me know if you might need anything, because I will be honest. I am stripping her down, taking what I need or can sell, and scrapping her. I cant afford to have her occupy that much garage space. I do plan on rebuilding the FITV and IACV and selling those on ebay for $$$ but if one of you guys needs one, I'll cut you a deal. Oh... Does anyone want a write up on any of the work I am doing? Any removal, installation, the headlights, transmission swap? Like I said, just let me know! :D
