Dumpster Prelude Spoiler

so my apartment neighbors have a knack for throwing away perfectly good stuff, for example i recently found 7 super nice wood mounted large aerial photos of seattle just leaned up against the dumpster. probably cost the dude a few hundred bucks originally, so i nabbed them.

anyway, coming home i just saw a spoiler leaned up against the wall behind the dumpster. upon closer inspection it was a prelude spoiler, doesnt appear cracked or broken(but i am by no means a part expert, it could very well be ****ed up).

so, i know this probably wouldnt "fit" my accord, but is this something i should salvage?? i dont really want it, but i figure i could maybe throw it up on craigslist for 50 bucks or something, or if someone on here wants it i would be happy to sell it to a fellow forum member.

side note: our parking lot has occasionally had a few stolen joyride cars left here(not in a long time, a year or more ago), there is a slight possibility someone either stole this or took it off a stolen prelude to alter its appearance and throw off the cops. chances of that are slim, but i dont really want to get caught selling a stolen car part on craigslist if i can help it.

any advice is welcomed, thanks guys!!

PS: i dont think anyone in my building has a prelude, though i havent looked too hard at our crammed parking lot, its possible

I dunno, the rear end of a CD5 isn't dissimilar to a prelude dependent on year

You could probably make it fit. As to whether you should sell it, why not? It's not like it has a VIN # on it. But I doubt you'd get any money for it anyway, probably either try to fit it on your car (if that's what you want) or just post it on craigslist saying "prove that this belongs to your car and I'll give it back"

I had a similar thing happen, I found on trash day, a nearly new "Captain's" chair from a high end minivan. I took it home to see if it would fit my Town and Country, it didn't.
So i put it in the "Free" classifieds and it was gone in 4 hrs.
Somebody can use that stuff, if it's not you.

Seems as the choice is up to you, I'd sell it also. :)
