this car?
unfortunately, that's not even an accord. It's an Ascot.
If you could even source the bodywork, then you could probably find a way to make it fit, but I would say stick with the engine swap.

uhhh...ok no pic loaded...what i am talking about is taking a front nose fenders and hood with radiator from a european 98+ euro r accord
here is a link of what i am talking about

hmmmm.... wikipedia says that the 98 euro accords are still based on the ascot innova, which in turn is based on a CB chassis not a CD, but I say if you were already willing to drop 800 dollars on a front end, then screw it, go for it. Post a build thread.

now i isee what pic you posted...huh...didnt know it was an ascot...think i might still try to make it fit

I say do it! I'd love to see that happen to a CD chassis.

I know its been done on the 6th gen Accords because their body style is more similar.

It could be done, but it'd all be trial and error on your part. A lot of man hours for sure.

95Coupe_360 06-04-2013 12:03 AM

that is fine by me...with a wife and 2 girls any man cave hours wrenching away is alll good with me. i will probably try it out and if it doesnt work then make it work...lol

I just read the running gear part of that image, I want the suspension from that ascot in my car! Full double-wishbone on front and rear!

Your car already has double wishbone suspension front and rear. Pretty much all 90s Honda's came with it. It wasn't until the early 2000s that Honda started transitioning to MacPherson struts.

I have seen one person successfully swap a CF4 (Accord Type R) front end. And he ended up going widebody on the car as well.

well i'll be darned! I guess I didn't pay enough attention under there. Can I correct my negative camber then?

hondafreak91c 07-08-2013 02:06 AM

Yes you can. For the rear's get Ingall's camber arms (replaces the upper rear arm with an adjustable one). You'll have to get one for each side.

For the front, go with Ingall's or SPC camber kit. Don't get the adjustable ball joint ones.....get these:

just lost my job, but that ^ will happen in the future. bong dang here i was thinking "oh macpherson struts I can't adjust camber on these without adjustable pillowball mounts"
