Default illegal clear markers?

I want to get a set of clear bumper lenses for my 96 accord, but ive heard that in some states it has to be amber or else its not legal.

does anyone have any information about that for New York?

thanks

go to your state dmv site and look up vehicle codes, its a mess to sort through tho

i know in cali, it has to be white or amber in the frontand red or amber in the back

i was gonna do blue running lights, untill i read that, i dont want to give cops a reason to mess with me

good luck

is it illegal, probably, but will a cop actually pull you over for it.............doubt it, i have tons of stuff that is technically illegal with my car, but dont get in trouble for it except when i go to mass.

i have white turn signals, and had blue for a while and havent gotten in trouble.

but like mass for you i work inthe boonies where thers a chp, county sherrifs, andcity @%$& office all withina mile of each other... that means theres about 30 bored*&^% on the road at any given time :P

maybe when i get a job closer to home, cuz i really like the idea of the blue lights
