Led turn signals question

Some websites recommend a pair of load resistors for LED turn signal lights. Will it work or burn out faster if I don't get load resistors?

You will get "hyperflash" without the load resistors...Beware of where you put the resistors, they get plenty warm when the blinkers are on for very long.

I have LEDs on both the front and rear turn signals. They do "hyper flash", but they've worked well for awhile now. The SMD ones I bought were pretty cheap off eBay, and match my 12K HIDs nicely, too.
