Default THe Lowering!

Hey guys, i am taking my car to Houston, Texas this weekend because i heaerd it is a good outlet to get your car work done...

Anyways, i need some help first off i would like to lower my car - my car maybe an 1" or 1.5" first off what would i need to get in order to do it? The only reason i ask is because when i go up there I dont want to get screwed over by some fast talking mechanic?

And what is a reasonable price for an all black paint job?

If you want to drop your car 1'-1.5' than the prokit is your best bet. It runs anywhere from 250-350 and the cost to get it installed depends on the shop. So I would say probably no more than around 450 installed.

If you want a high quality paint job than expect to spend around 2-3k.

So a set of lowering springs will not do it? I thought it's a DIY kind of job except proper alignment after the installation is done.

@ Mark_H You can save a few $ if you do the sanding etc. your self.

you can do it with just springs but then ride quality isnt as good and ur will ruin your shocks over time. if u want a really good pair of springs go with eibach. u can do like eibach sprigns with tokico hp struts. or just go with a whole eibach system if u want to spend a lil more money
