lowering kit

lowering springs or coilovers? i was told coilovers would make my ride too rough. '12 accord coupe

I say coilovers. The adjustability is worth it over springs/shocks, because most of the time you end up wanting to change your height down the road. And with lowering springs, you need to change your shocks to ones that are capable of handling a drop and stiffer springs...in the end it comes out to around the same price as coilovers....but without any adjustability.

Coils won't be too rough, as long as you get a quality brand. I'd recommend Tein Street Basis, or Street Advance. Tein is known for being very comfortable. My friend had a set on his 1994 Accord, and they rode like a Dream.

I go with his thoughts on your questions also.
The adjustability of the coil over set up makes them more desirable because of that reason.
Most coil-over sets will be adjustable from 0" to 4"..that makes them my choice also.

What year is your accord?
