Rear Air Dam
On my 96 LX, I have the stock air dam. But I also have "dual" exhaust, (one tip on the real muffler, another tip (fake) clamped on a pipe and magneted to the gas tank), the "duals" don't look as good with the stock rear air dam, and I was wondering if the 94-95 air dam would work/look better, or if it would even fit on the car.
Opinions would be great. (tasauto.com has a picture of both of the rear air dams) |
im sorry i could not understand, rear air dam? you have a picture?
|
I believe he is referring to a rear lip. Or oem rear bumper valance.
You should post a picture. |
I can't post the picture, I hope a link will do. http://tasauto.com/Product/images/rrairdam.jpg
Yes. It is the rear lip. Would everything just bolt straight on? |
oh thats whut you meant. yeah the rear lip on the 96-97's are pretty much non-existent. i've seen maybe 2 pictures of them with the 94-95 rear lip. its definitely not straight bolt up. you're probably going to have to do some cutting/modding.
would look beta though! |
It can fit but takes some work.
Why not just get an aftermarket rear lip for the 96-97? |
