Default Rust Restoration Process

So I was gonna put this under the DIY requests but I'm a bit confused by that section- theres nothing under it.

I was looking around the forum and saw some threads on rust treatment but I'm looking for a recommendation on the entire process. I have parts under my doors with rust on them. I'm looking to get rid of the rust and then replace the removed parts then paint them.

So, whats the best product and process to get it off?
Whats the best material to rebuild the small sections?
And wheres the best place to get matching paint inexpensively?

And can I get this all in a kit or would it be cheaper and better to buy all the steps separately?
Ill be looking around online more but I wanna see if anyones had personal experience with some good methods since this will be a first attempt.

Thanks

Depending on level of damage, this can require wholesale cut-out and reinstallation of body panel. For modest damage the following youtube video looks to be relatively simple. There are many more on youtube to review.

good luck

Great, this video helps so I see the process. But what products are recommended? I dont want any rust to show up again from where I missed.
