So I have this idea on how to fix my trunk floor cover...
 

I don't know if this is something that's supposed to be like this with all 94-97 Accords, but the floor cover on my car, the piece of hard material that covers my spare tire well, has a horizontal split near the back. It looks like it's supposed to be that way, but I don't like it. I was wondering how hard would it be to get a piece of plywood, trace the shape of the cover onto it, carpet the plywood, and put it in the trunk? Or, is the floor supposed to be that way for a reason? Thanks.

yea, sure can, i done it already to my trunk, so my subs could have something strudy to sit on, then i took it out when i switched to one 12in sub, i never carpeted it though, i just laid the other piece on top of it. if you are near panama city florida you can have mine, if not i can take pics of it tomorrow so you can see what it looks like. let me know

Lol. I wish I could have yours, but I live in Ocean Springs, Mississippi (near Biloxi, MS if you've heard of that city). Unfortunately gas prices are high and I don't want to spend the money to go to Panama City (which is like 4 or 5 hours away from here). Thanks for the offer though. I just wanted to see if that idea would work because my sub kinda sinks downward.
