What is brighter than HID headlights???
 

A few years ago I installed 35watt HID's in my 2008 accord and they are nice but not as bright as I expected. Now I see people going down the road with headlights that look like (color) my HID's but they are MUCH brighter. They are not projector beams but I don'r know what they have. What are they running???

55w HIDs? The amount of glare that would come out of non projector housing with 55w HIDs would be insane though.

Probably. I see cars/trucks that have non projector headlights with much brighter output than what I have with my 35 watt HID's. I am looking for something that is brighter but I don't want to give the insane glare that you are talking about. I am not sure but are they possibly using some sort of LED bulb in there??? If so, is there a plug and play LED that could be put in there that puts out more light??
