01 accord. has steering wheel radio controls. and aftermarket HU. am I limited in using a "certain" Honda HU in order for the controls to work? if I find a 2000 Honda radio on a car that does not have controls, will the controls work if I swap it into my car? or do I have to find a car that has steering wheel controls and use that radio?

 

The PAC SWI-X will allow for most head units to communicate with the factory steering controls.
