RE: 05 NAVI question

You would need this for the audio, AUX interface. This may or not may not be the one for the NAV unit. Then you would also need a video interface for the video. That site doesn't have one for video, but that is what you should be looking for, and what you will need to use. Other members may be able to help you further, but it is possible.

RE: 05 NAVI question

This isn't very common and there is only one solution which I gave you already. You need to find the video interface for a honda navi. It isn't cheap, but its cheaper then changing it out for an aftermarket navi. Yes you will lose XM when you put the AUX sound input. The interface plugs into the AUX port on the HU, which is used by XM from factory. Now you got the basics on what to do, I can't help you further, and there aren't many here that have done this. This is what you need to do, search for a video interface for a honda nav unit, once you find it get a AUX sound from the same site to save on shipping costs. It should come with instructions, if not, all you will be doing is pulling out the Nav unit, which you can find tutorials online, then just plugging the interface into the ports it says to plug it into. If you get the right interface for your car there will be now wire splicing, just plug and play.
