06 Accord 6x9 issue
 

I have bought some nice 6x9s for my 06 Accord Coupe a while back, but the issue im having is that if i mount them from the top they do not raddle the trunk, but i cannot get the car's speaker covers back on because the 6x9s are too high. Putting on the speaker covers that came with the speakers is a problem because if i do so then it looks quite bad b/c you can see the holes and outline of the stock speaker covers. MOunting the 6x9s from the bottom makes them sound worse and evrything in my trunk rattles. Is there an aftermarket adapter or other solutions for this?

NO! Don't use the aftermarket grills, they looks hideous! I went throught half a dozen speakers at the audio shop trying to find the pair that fit and Infinity Kappa's fit perfectly and sound awesome at the same time.....

My JL VR 6x9s fit perfectly. They are a sweet pair of 6x9s too.

EDIT: The only solution I can think of is to see if there is anything protruding from the grill that can be removed and let the grill fit right. From the sounds of it, the speaker it's self is just way to big. My JL is pretty huge and it fits just under the grill. If you can't get them to fit and you can't live with them looking like crap in the rear then your going to have to replace them.
