07 Accord Auxiliary Input for iPod?

I have an 07 Accord EX-L 4cyl. with XM radio and I am frustrated that there is no auxiliry input for my iPod. I purchased 2 different (and returned both) iTrip wireless units that route the iPod through the FM receiver but the sound quality stinks! I would like to keep the factory radio --can anyone tell me if there is a way to install an auxiliary input into the factory head unit so that I can enjoy the tunes on my iPod? Any other suggestions are also welcome. Please help ---Thanks!

You would have to get rid of the XM to connect an iPod or any other aux input on the 7th gen stock HU. If you want to use both iPod and XM you HAVE to go aftermarket.

07 Accord Auxiliary Input for iPod?

That's what I was afraid of! Thanks for your response. Hey also -- I was at the Honda dealership yesterday and found Music Link 2.0? It is quite expensive but I may look into that as well. I found a few threads online which did not have good things to say about the 1.0 version. Anyway, I will continue my pursuit of solving my music challenge.

Thanks again!

I don't think you will find anyone who will have any good things to say about the stock HU period. At least with my AUX adapter the max volume was lower than the volume from the radio or CD changer. I recommend going aftermarket, especially if both XM and iPod are important to you.
