1992 EXI rear seat removal

Hi,

I've been searching the web for days along with trying everything i can to get the back seat out of my 4dr accord. i cant seem to get it or any information whatsoever. Theres no clips like on most cars i've had. Once i get the bottom section out im assuming the rest wont be hard.. unless in this car i somehow take the top section out first???? I have no idea.

Please help me before i go insane!!!

Okay first after you get the bottom part out, theres a key insert at the top between your speakers that lets the middle part down. Let the center seats down and they are bolted to hinges (like a household door). Just unscrew the hinges at the bottom part of the seat under the trunk carpet. As far as the small side peices that are left on each side of the seat, just pull really hard on the top part cause they are just hooked so you have to put some strength into getting those off, but they hook right back on if you decide to put them back.

If yourrear seat cannot fold, then slip your hand into the thight space where the backrest meets the seat. To the right of the centre armrest you will feel a 10mm bolt. Using a socket remove the bolt, once removed lift the seat, it will tilt to the front where it is kept in place with wire hooks. I should note that replacing the bolt is a bit more tricky as the space is limited and you have to feel around a bit
