1998 connecting external dvd player to touchscreen video player in Honda Accord 1998
Greetings to you all, i am using a touchscreen video player called AUDIOLA. But for sometime now it seems to reject compact disc audio and video when inserted, it appears that the lens is bad. Now i want to purchase an external dvd player and then connect it to the touchscreen video player via audio and video cables so that it will be showing on the touchscreen. My question is this, is it not going to place too much load on the alternator when using both the external dvd player and the touchscreen video player when driving. please i will need your suggestion on this before purchasing the external dvd player. THANKS TO YOU ALL

Are you sure that the set-up you're describing is actually possible?
Some in-dash infotainment systems have a built in decoder (block) that prevents the display of DVD, especially while the vehicle is in motion |

the alternator won't notice an increase in electrical load. the DVD player and touchscreen are less than 10A combined.
