2002 accord sub box ideas
 

I have 2 12"s (Rockford P3s) and am going to be replacing the prefab box i have them in for now over the summer. The Subs apparently require a pretty big box and im wanting to build a box to accommodate that but retain access to the spare tire. Im thinking of replacing the floor or something like that. Anyone already done this and if so, got any links to pics suggestions, walkthroughs etc etc?

you can easily put them in as IB and keep your entire trunk. my build log for my 2001 Accord (link in sig) has several configurations for you to evaluate.

even with a false floor (which i've also done and even had a full size spare), to keep spare access you need quite a bit exposed.

after you've gone through my build log, then feel free to ask questions.

another option is to build an enclosure on each side of the trunk, firing the subs towards each other, but leaving the middle open for storage and spare tire access.
