2003 Accord 12" sub instal

Hello, I have no sound in my sub. I have a 2003 accord coupe with the stock head unit, which is not the navi. I have spliced into the rear speaker into an LOC. Power and ground are 4 gauge and I just have a Rockford Fosgate 400w-2ch going to a JL w3 12". I have gone to a local mobile audio store and have gone thru every wire, replacing the LOC and amp. Today after trying a new amp the sub still wouldn't get any sound. So I traded that for a new sub. I had an old Alpine type S that was working just fine about a year ago. I have not tried looking for the ANC to disable it. I don't think my car even has that. The amp and the sub and the wiring are done perfectly. What else could there be? I am completely baffled.

there is no ANC on the 2003 models.

use a DMM to measure voltage at the amp battery and remote turn-on terminals. what did you use for a remote turn on. if you have 12VDC or more on the battery and turn-on terminals then check that the amp is not in protect (lights on the amp). then measure VAC at the speaker outputs to verify you get voltage out of the amp (best to do this with a 50Hz test tone CD).
