Default 2002 Honda Accord XM Radio

I currently own a 2002 Honda Accord Ex Coupe. When I bought it, it came with XM radio which is installed right under the factory radio. I wanted to take it out, so that I could replace it with a Bass Level when I get subs. However I noticed that this cord goes all the way through the side of my trunk and attached to a magnetic piece? ontop of the trunk. Has anyone uninstalled the XM radio or does anyone know of a Video? I just want a general idea of what I will have to do.

Thank you!
I dont have pictures at the moment, might post later if needed

this doesn't sound like a factory install but an aftermarket job which uses the magnetic antenna.

if you want to remove it completely, you'll have to disassemble the interior panels/carpet that hide the routing. we can't tell you how aftermarket wiring is routed.

removing panels in the car is very easy. everything along the side (door trim pieces) is just held with clips. to remove the rear seat there is a bolt about 1/3 from the drivers side, then it just pulls out with clips in front (pull up at the front in the middle of each seat).

once you trace the routing you can ask specific dis-assembly questions if necessary - it's really pretty straightforward. i've taken my 2001 apart enough to know it by memory.
