2005 Honda LX - lcd blinks, drains battery
 

Hi,

I was hoping if you can help me with my problem. Our Accord 2005 LX contintues to blink its sound system lcd even after engines off, keys out.

It came to a point where it drained a battery, and then another. We finally just pulled the fuse so we can at least stop the battery from being drained/shot. I Would appreciate any help on this.

I love this car, and it's shame it has so many problems. I mean we have power window problems, passenger's door lock doesn't power lock, inner door handles' faux-chrome stickers gave cuts to our hands, sigh. It still has a very powerful engine, but there's just so many maintenance to do. :(

Oh sorry one last question. Is it possible to let Arduino or Raspberry Pi take over the innards of the sound system and still be able to use it? I know Honda's radio locking/antitheft mechanism is pretty hardcore..
