2007 rear speakers?
 

Just bought a 2007 Accord VP, which doesn't come with rear speakers, but has the wiring in place. anyone know a good place to get normal speakers that will fit this car? Sorry....I know this is probably a dumb question, but just not a car speaker kind of guy.

I had the same exact problem.

Very simple solution: Wal-Mart.

They carry a good range of car speakers. From utter crap, to pretty dang good.

I got my speakers (6x9s, btw, if you didn't know) for 70 or 80 bucks from Wal-Mart a couple years ago.

Other places:

Circuit City and Best Buy (though they may be overpriced)
Tweeter
Ebay

If you want to use the connectors that come attatched in the back, you may need to get OEM honda speakers. I cut and spliced mine in... They might make adapters that make the whole process easier... Anyone know?

Thks - forgive my ignorance, but I'm looking around at crutchfield and different places and had a few questions.....have no idea about the terminology & specifics. Am I looking for 3 way, 4 way, what wattage, etc? I'm not looking for anything crazy. I guess something better than the $30 OEM speakers would be good. Looks like crutchfield orders come with wiring harnesses/adapters

If youre just wanting some replacement speakers and arent super picky about your sound quality, then Id go to Best Buy and Circuit City with a CD you like and listen to some 6x9's. Pick the ones you like best. Doesnt matter if theyre 3 or 4 way (although 2 way is better IMO).

While youre there you might even get some speakers for the front doors. If youre gonna do it, might as well do it right.

The OEM Honda speakers that fit the space exactly are very inexpensive, less than $20 apiece and will match the other two in tonal quality. Are there better ones? Absolutely but you're not building a system you just want two more speakers.
