2013 / 2014 Accord Sport with Navigation possible?

Hi there, I have not seen this before so i am gonna throw this out there to check ig somebody have seen this.

I just got an 2014 Accord Sport. I would like to check if there is a posiblity to get the Navigation Radio (original one from honda) and install it on sport model. I heard that the honda accord already comes with the cable harness it need to function properly.

it'll cost you thousands. you need many pieces, not just the radio. just get a portable unit for $150.

It might be possible

Thanks for your replies!

I found a cheaper way to get some kind of Navigation on the Honda Accord Sport without investing a ton and with the original radio. Check out this item:

Honda Accord 2013 2014 Video Integration Interface TV DVD iPod Backup Camera | eBay

It is an integration module that allows you to connect your iPhone to the video screen and you can even watch movies!!!

I wonder if it works with Android phones?

It also comes with video cables in case you want to connect a video player. Only thing is that it does not charges the iPhone/iPod.

If you've seen something like this before let me know where can I see it!

Thank you all!!

the device you linked does not add navigation. it just gives you a video input for the multi-media screen. you can use that video input to snag a video output from a phone or tablet that has navigation on it. it won't allow charging of the device nor control over the device. Apple products can be used with adapters for video output (composite video out). Few Android phones have composite video out (my Droid Razr has HDMI out).

you'll have several cables connected to the phone for charging and video output, as well as audio output to the head unit. during the use, i'm assuming the backup camera and any other vehicle info will not be available because this device overrides the video cable.

this device may cause warranty issues and insurance issues if you get in an accident while using the screen for other purposes.

still a cool find!
