Default 2013 Accord EX Tie in for a Center Mounted Brake Light Flasher

Installed a center mounted brake light flasher on the wife's Civic this weekend. It pulses the brake light four times and then goes solid when the brake is depressed. Tried to do the same on my 2013 Accord EX but can't figure out how to tie it into the wiring harness. The wires to the light appear to go on top of the rear deck. Any clues on where to tie in?

remove the rear deck?

they are likely accessible if you just remove the rear seat bottom, should be one bolt 1/3 from the driver's side and some clips (just lift up). the wires will be taped or loomed or both. if you know the colors at the connector you can intercept wherever.

i typically use a DMM to verify continuity before actually cutting.

Not under the seat. The seat is held down by two clips. Pull and lift up. No wires. They appear to be behind the drivers side seat bolster. I downloaded a 2010 Accord Service Manual and so far its been accurate. Will look under the bolster another weekend.
