2015 Speaker replacement (?)
 

Wanting to replace/upgrade the speakers in my 2015 Accord Sport.

The front should be an easy swap, however from the research I've done thus far, it appears that the only way to replace the rear deck speakers is to remove the entire (upper & lower) rear seat... Right or wrong? Is there any other way possible to remove & replace the rear deck speakers?

I moved this to the audio section. Pretty sure the '14 and '15 are the same. You might want to look thru KHA's thread where he is building the audio system in his '14.

That thread was informative as far as the front speakers are concerned, however I'm seeking info on replacing rear deck speakers. From what I've found so far, looks as if there is no way to get around having to pull the rear seats

you don't need to pull the rear seats, but it is a little easier if you do. and the rear is held in be 2 bolts and a couple push pins.

you do need to remove the side bolsters which are 1 bolt each under the rear seat. you just need to lift up the rear to see it. then it is a matter of pulling out plastic pins but the rear deck is the biggest PITA. it is tough unless you have something with leverage like a pry bar.

having said all that, if you are doing a simple upgrade-don't touch the rears. they do nothing IMO for the overall sound, i even had my rears juiced by amp at one time. i would leave them and tune the radio to move all the sound to the fronts.

I will take your suggestion as a consideration, indeed by replacing only the two front, that would lower the expense of the upgrade. However, unless there are passengers in the back, I do like to set most of the volume to the rear speakers and then blend-in the front

just let the stock rears stay as-is. the factory system greatly attenuates them anyway. they sound fine for rear passengers and good front speakers will be clearly audible to rear passengers as well.
