Default 6 CD changer radio

i am looking to change the radio in my 2001 Coupe it has the 6 disc changer but no aux port and i'm stuck using a casset wire. i was wondering if any one knew of any head units that would fit the huge space that the current radio takes up and preferably on the cheap side i don't want to spend 1k on a radio

Metra 99-7895 (met-997895) Single DIN Installation Kit w/Pocket

If you buy the stereo from sonic it will come with the dash kit, the wire adapter, and the antenna adapter.

that is a double din stereo. you will still need a dash kit, just the double din kit.
Double Din Car Stereo | Double Din Car Radio & 2 Din Head Units

I dont know what you consider on the cheap side, but double dins are usually more expensive than single dins.

i recommend Crutchfield as they will include instructions and all mounting kits/harnesses required.

double din car stereo at Crutchfield.com

plus, they are a legit seller so you still get a warranty. Sonic is ok, but Crutchfield is better. And the price will be the same if the sale is legit and warranty is maintained.

To the OP. I hate sonic. they are a pain in the *** to deal with, and they will screw you on warranty and restocking, just as a heads up. they are cheaper than most places. but you better hope what you get is right. I just use them for referance. I get 90% of my stuff through the same person. I can get you his contact info if you want it. prices are a bit better than crutchfield and warranty is good. his support is good too, but you have to catch him when he isnt busy. he doesnt have a full staff like crutchfield to sit and walk you through it.
